What I’m Reading for August

I was feeling starved for a good book, or five, so I hauled the kids to the library and took a few minutes to check out my favorite shelf, New Releases. I was glad to see a few titles that caught my eye and a couple of “old friend” authors that had new books for my summer reading pleasure.
Alexander McCall Smith and the further adventures of Bertie await me. I have been on a Joyce Carol Oates rabbit trail ever since I found a free Kindle book by her about a year ago.
